SCOUT can not recognise my Device - CU320

irb6 Posts: 106 Rating: (1)	Hi all, I have Simotion Scout v4.1.1.6 and when I try to connect to SINAMICS s120 CU320 I experiencing a problem. I set PROFIBUS addresst to 5 in THE CU320 and when i try to find accessible nodes on network, SCOUT can find device but with comment: "address=5; no type info available" and I cannot connect to it. Does anybode have a solution for my problem? Thanks in advance

irb6 Posts: 106 Rating: (1)	Thanks for your responses Where can I found out version of CU320? I did look at every side of device and I could not find version... In Scout I have only one available version 2.5x No, I did try with Starter cause I have not it until now. In the few minutes I'lle try with Starter. Regards

The SSP you can download here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/35533333 But before you install the SSP you must install a newer Version of SIMOTION Scout ! Please Install SIMOTION Scout V4.1.2 to use SSP ! Regards Christoph
