Which installation guide should be followed to install the OS?

liangcai Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I just received two IOT2050 Advanced M.2 (6ES7647-0BB00-1YA2), FS01 but they seem to have no OS preinstalled because I can't see anything from the display. Is it normal? Which installation manual I should follow to install OS if I have to install it myself? Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Overview about FS states of IOT2050.

How is the behavior of the STAT LED? Is it red or off? Do you have a DP monitor connected directly or are you using any sort of an adapter? Best regards!

liangcai Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	The STAT LED was green for a couple of seconds then became red. We tried DP monitor and active DP to HDMI adapter. None of them worked. The monitor says no signal. I think it should come with OS pre-installed but our contact in Simens told us it might not have the OS.

bergmanu Platinum Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 4/24/2025 Posts: 3345 Rating: (382)	Hi, red STAT LED means no OS found - strange. I can't test this, as I received FS:02 devices last week. Then you need to install either Example Image V1.3.1 or IndOS V3.2.3 on your own. Best regards!
