Hi all!

I'm new to plc programming and I would need help

I'm using STEP7 v5.7 sp2 with S7-Graph v5.7 sp1, with an old cpu313 (6ES7 313-1AD03-0AB0), with LAD language.

I have a rotating lever attached to a motor shaft that, at 0° and 180°, activates inductive sensors ("up" sensor and "down" sensor). In total I have 5 identical motor.

I need the motor working in 3 different way:

• continuous: stop when an input goes to "1"
• stop up: stop when "up" sensor is activated
• stop down: stop when "down" sensor is activated

Motors are identical, but they could work in different "mode" to each other: motor1 continuous, motor2 and 3 on upper switch, 3 and 4 on down switch for example

I've created a FB (FB1) as a model for the motor that manages the different "mode".

For FB1, in the input interface, i declared:

• "mode" bit: if 0=stop on sensor, if 1=continuous run
• "pos" bit: if 0=stop on "down" sensor", if 1=stop on "up" sensor
• other inputs and outputs...

With that I've created a second FB (FB2) as multi-instances (in the STAT area of FB2) with a associated DB (DB2). Inside FB2 I associated every input and output to respective motor block "pin".

In the symbol table I created :

• "mode_byte" as MB0, with M0.0 being mode for motor1, M0.1 mode for motor2. etc etc
• "pos_byte" as MB1, with M1.0 to stop up or down motor1,  M1.1 for motor2, etc etc.

In OB1 I call FB2.

With PLCSim if I run OB1 and activate and deactivate single bits inside MB0 and MB1 everithings works good.

I've created another FB with GRAPH to manage start/stop, mode and pos following a certain sequence. If Inside action I useN:M0.0for example everythings works.

So far so good. In general the program works fine.

My question is how I can change the mode to all motor without have to write for examplep 5 times N:M0.x  inside GRAPH?
