I have an issue with FM350-1. When I switch the CPU STOP and Run again, the counting value is set to zero. How should I keep the last value. 

I know maybe I could use a retain memory and move actual counter value to it. Then use L-dircet and move the retain value to new load value and then set L-direct. 

I just wanna know where there is a way to retain the actual value itself.

I really appreciate for the help, so there is no way to retain the actual value itself.

I want to use HSC in periodic operating mode which main counting direction is set on NONE. how should I set upper and lower count limit? e.g. I want the HSC just count between 1000 and 5000, when it reached 5000 just start from lower limit, which is 1000 in this case.
