Basicly i have an 840D SL (PLU50.3) with a ncu710.2 which im trying to see the ladder diagram from the plc but all i can do is download to a usb the plc.arc from the control because when i try to connect my step 7 i can see the ncu with its ip address but it cant connect. I havent used step 7 in a long time and i now have the `new´ version V5.7 SP2 of step 7 Attached are photos of when i try to connect and the plc.arc Attachment PLC.zip (117 Downloads)

This seems to be because you do not have a tool box installed for Sinumerik hardware and so STEP 7 only see's the online node but does not know how to communicate. Contact you're local siemens contact and ask for the tool box. Best Regards Riddersholm
