Dear Experts, I am having S7-400 system. I receive fault messages of Module problem or maintenance necessary in CPU events as in attached file. I would like to know how to solve the problem, possibly without change the software. Thank you in advance. AttachmentDiagnose.txt (255 Downloads) |

Hello Maverick66, The error indicates the following: The 'module problem or maintenance necessary' is just the interrupt to OB82, the diagnostic interrupt that you will get when a channel passivates. So when a channel does passivate, that means there is something wrong with a channel and it will make for a SF LED on the module and an OB82 interrupt to the CPU. I recommend you to solve this error. For reintegration/depassivation you can follow the following application example: Safety: Passivation and Reintegration of F-I/O |
