Hello,

Currently running Simatic Process Historian Version 2020 (2000.201.2213.5). 

I have 1 archived segment that is constantly being backed up every 2 hrs by the Backup scheduler. 

It has been back-up more than 190 times!

We have had a couple of other segments backup multiple times, but not to this extent.

What causes the backup to continually run and how can I make it stop?

This should not be the behavior of scheduler. It is working in a abnormal way as we see here.
There are two possibilities to come out of the issue, those are as follows:

• Update the PH/IS to current latest release (2020 SP2 Update 4)
  
• Or Contact technical Support for further analysis. (Technical Support)
