Safety Matrix and Control Module

Oreca Platinum Expert Joined: 3/14/2008 Last visit: 12/28/2025 Posts: 2233 Rating: (987)	Hi, Safety Matrix does not create the technological blocks (VlvL etc.), but rather involves the input and output tags by creating F driver blocks/function blocks and those signals are used in the safety matrix. The Safety Matrix blocks are added to the existing CFC program. See the following manual starting page 81 chapter 7: Link Since a recent update for PCS7 V9.0 (I believe), Safety blocks are also supported by CMT (Control Module Types).
