When this fault is triggered?

Is this new system under commissioning or running?

How drive is controlled?

Tipically this error (Command aborted and after that the consequent 20005) comes if you are doing a command (i.e. : move relative or jog or also the enable) and you "cut" the STO input before having stopped that command and/or removed the enable of that motor.

So check the exact order of actions that you do when the STO signal is cut or eventually increase the delay time of the STO for falling down

Which is CU? CU320-2 and SIMOTION D425-2.

Which is MM? It is Double motor module.

Is encoder interfaced directly to motor module or via SMC/SME? encoder at servo motor.

When this fault is triggered? when I try to enable it via control panel.

Is this new system under commissioning or running? It is running.

How drive is controlled? SIMOTION control it.

Drive sent fault in encoder feedback signal to controller as such when you try to enable/operate drive it triggers attached fault message.

Please check encoder cable, connection to MM & if problem persist, try by swapping/replacing it.
