I was wondering if there is a way to scale a value that is 0-400 in the logo to a floating point value for wincc runtime? So like 0.0 to 40.0

I tried the I/f block but it just sent a bigger number over.

I only have the choices shown for a logo connection in Tia

Hi my friend!

LOGO! only can deal with integer.

You need to set a suitable resolution for the output float in the parameter setting.

1. Transfer the floats from outer system by network (with S7/Modbus protocol) and store them in          VM.

3. Process the integer with LOGO! BM.

5. Transfer the floats to outer system(with S7/Modbus protocol).

Find attached program test and print screen to help you to simulate in your PC.

That is close to what I tried but on the wincc runtime system I saw no choice for data type float available. Is there something im missing on the wincc side? I'm using LOGO connection type on the wincc runtime project.

If you have other Siemens PLC in the same network you can convert DWord into Floating Point as well.

If not, try to use DWord really.
