@AutoGen_592358 Joined: 9/18/2023 Last visit: 7/24/2025 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone! I found that is possible to STOP the PLC, by the Function STP. But i dont think is possible to program RUN automatically.I have read once that the PLC have a digital pin, to start again by a voltage signal, but i'm not really sure. Can you help me with a clear information, about how to do it? Maybe with a timer or an relay? Is there a specific pin? Thanks for the help!

That doesn't involve turning off the power to the PLC If it's an S7-300 or 400 you can use SFB "START" to remotely start the PLC via communication from another PLC.

I'm using CPU 1511-1 PN, and i have a LMQTT instruction. The only way i know to restart a communication error is reset the program (Switch Run to Stop). I want to make an automatic system to reset the PLC. Maybe with an external signal? That doesnt involve cut the current.
