Dear experts,

I am challenged to create a MRP Profinet ring between an existing CPU400 (6ES7 412-2XJ05-0AB0) equiped wit a CP card (6GK4 443-1EX20-0XE0) created in a Step 7 classic project and a new CPU1500 (6ES7 513-1AL02-0AB0) created in a Tia portal V19 project.

Can someone tell me if this is possible and if so give me directions on to how to accomplish this.

I haven´t got this configuration so far. There is an FAQ how to work with Proxys if you have multible projects:

perhaps this works also if you use instead a TIA proxy, a proxy from a S7400 out of a classic project?

(in v19 this is still possible; since V20 the classic Simatic Manager proxy does not work any more)

Thank you so much for your answer. I have tried it with a S7400 proxy but in that case i am not able to configure the Profinet topology. My assumption is it will not work but maybe i'm wrong.
