the CU320-2 which is included in TIA Portal Startdrive can only be connected to a SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU. If you want to connect to a S7-400 PLC you need to commission the SINAMICS in STARTER engineering software and use the GSD file in the TIA Portal project to connect the drive to the PLC in the HW config. The GSD file of the drive can be found in the hardware catalogue under "other field devices".

is it still not possible to commission S120 drive with S 1200 PLC even with Startdrive??.

Correct, still not possible to connect a S120 Startdrive object with S7-1200 in V17.

One "workaround" to stay within Startdrive and not use STARTER would be the following:

- create and parameterize the S120 in Startdrive, but do NOT connect it via PROFINET to the PLC

- instead add another GSDML file of S120 to your project and connect this one to your PLC. 

So you have the S120 once in your project for complete parameterization and additionally you have its GSDML file for communication setup to the PLC. Hope this was clearly explained. Be aware that you need to setup the telegrams on both sides (Startdrive object of S120 and in GSDML file exactly the same way!)
