I have a PLC, HMI etc.. connected to a gateway. I have also purchased a VPN router and connected it to the gateway. The end goal is to connect to my HMI via Sm@rt Client while off the wifi network. I can connect to the HMI and control it with my phone when I am on the same wifi network. Through a long trial and error, I have figured out that the VPN router is able to ping the HMI, but the HMI is rejecting it. Has anyone ever dealt with this? I can't believe I am the first to set this up. Any help as to how to remedy this would be greatly appreciated.
