Hello everyone,

we have recently purchased the WINCC unified v16 comfort engineering license. but whenever i want to go online, simulate, or dowload to HMI, it just crashes tia portal. 

i can only make a nice screen, but anything that has to do with simulating or the actual panel just doesnt work. 

i use TIA portal prof v16.

after reinstalling Tia portal it fixed itself,

i made sure to download everthing in the list.

Just a generic tip on crashing with tia. If you experience a crash throw away your project! Chances are  you will experience crashes later on using this prj. (murphy laws say when).This is inconvenient, yes.

Backup every keystroke. Make a cpy of your blocks to a new prj. Do not cpy and re-use the project dir/file.Or use a vm with snapshots...

This is less involved than reinstalling tia that will crash again on a garbled prj.

Somehow tia is not able to do transactions ?

Deleting of the IM folder work for me and fixed the crashing also on TIA v19.
