inactivated PN_X1 interface of TP700 comfort

AutoGen_7343091 Joined: 10/10/2024 Last visit: 11/29/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	On a TP700 comfort, unfortunately the interface PN_X1 has become disabled.This happened after we tried to download image files on it. How can I enable it again? .Currently I cannot download and connect to this TP owing to fact that even in accessible nodes it is not seen and I continually receive the message “ No accessible device found" whenever we try for that.

Hati Platinum Member Joined: 9/21/2012 Last visit: 1/10/2026 Posts: 4846 Rating: (512)	Try to use ProSave to load a new operating system update to the HMI. ProSave can do a restore factory default with MAC address. You can read more about it in the HMI manual.

All of connecting ports like Ethernet, Profibus/MPI and .... have stopped working properly. If I could connect to TP, I would try to update its OS (image files) by Prosave software. As you know, provided that there exists a connection between the PC (Laptop) and TP700comfort, we can do something like update, backup or ... by Prosave. Does this situation mean I have to reset the TP to factory settings? Are there any risks If I try to reset it to factory settings? If yes, What I have to prepare in advance? Siencerly
