"Did you know" feature for newbies.

For the "newbies" like me (due to inexperience or languaje issues), some times it is a litle hard to know exactly where to find all information, manuals, FAQ's or Downloads related to Siemens A&D products. I think that's why we havesome repetitive post, or posts that"maybe are not necesary". I think it is good idea to create a "Did you know" section in the forum, in this section maybe will be a descrption of how to access to all information provided in "Siemens Product Support Home Page"; in that way the newer users will note there are other ways to get manuals and ansewers to their questions. I also propose to send a e-mail to newer users, this e-mail can containa link to "Did you Know" section. Well i hope it helps to reduce the repetitive posts, and also very important it can help to newbies like me to ask onlyon specific topics, and learn more and faster. Thank you, and have a very nice day .

Sometimes I feel that even "oldies" tend to forget the tools made available to them in Product support or in the forum threads. Fortunately, our moderators already have something prepared for the forum members, called the "Guided Tour"; it is available at the bottom of the right side column, below, way below the search box. It is well done, and really gives a lot of information on navigating through the Siemens supoort pages. I agree that it could be made better, and possibly more visible. But it is there. And maybeit should be required reading for all new members at least, before they start on the threads. Many regards, Daniel Chartier
