spare for 2000 A dc drive

jeetu77 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	We use one simoreg dc drive of 600 V DC and 2000 A current output capacity. I want to have a spare of thyristor pack. I came to know a type number 6RY1702-0CA03 for thyristor chain. I want to know how many thyristor will come in this chain. the drive is four quadrant and hence has two bridges and hence total 12 thyristor. pls any body let me know.

jeetu77 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	In that case the cost of purchasing just two thyristors appears to be prohibitively high......I wonder if it is possible to replace SIEMENS thyristors with equivalent thyristor of any other make like SEMIKRON etc.
