No standby or hibernate option available

drSpooky Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Hello all, Recently my boss gave mea brand new Siemens Field PG M3, offcourse i am very happy with it . I always used the hibernate and the standby option without any problem. But since last week both options are gone. And when i say gone i mean completely GONE. When i go to the POWER OPTIONS there is NO TAB Hibernate. When i run "powercfg -a" in the command prompt i get the next response: The following sleep states are not avalable on this system: Standby (S1) Standby (S2) Standby (S3) Hibernate In my opinion this could be because some ACPI functions are turned off in the BIOS. But in the BIOS there are no ACPI options available! If someone is familiar with this problem please let me know! Thanks...

May be need additional driver (not all drivers installed) or installed driver block transition to hibernate? I have no field pg m3, so i would suggest to start on your PG hwinfo32 (freeware) or better yet -Everest (shareware) - its report is better, to form a full report and attach it to your post in the forum. I would also like to seescreenshot Device Manager.
