I am using a Panel PC 477B, with WinLC RTX V4.3.0, and Step7 V5.4.

I would like to get the CPU clock, in order to make a trial program(so that my program run for a specific time, or to a specific date).

By using SFC1(Read Clock), i was successful, but my questions are this:

1. This time can be change by changing the Windows operating system date and time?

2. Are there any possibilities to change this time, without using the function SFC0(Set clock)? (Here i am thinking about restart or other operations that can be done by customer)

3. Can i trust in this time(read out by SFC1), for achieve my goal?(stop some main functions of my software, after a specific time)

Thank you for the post..i manage the translate it.

Regarding the CPU clock ... i tried to protect it but without success:

I set the level 3 password in HW(read/write). Now i cannot download/upload blocks.

The problem is that i still can modify the CPU clock, without a password, from PLC-> Diagnostic/Setting->Set Time of Day.

Is there a way to block access from this menu?
