To use the S7-1200 as a WEB SERVER do we need the STEP 7 Professional v11, or can I just buy a SIMATIC WinCC Basic v11?

To use the S7-1200 as a WEB SERVER do we need the STEP 7 Professional v11, or can I just buy a SIMATIC WinCC Basic v11? WEB is not a SCADA (at least yet ): he takes memory space on the PLC, doesn't have enhanced object (kurves, user alarms, recipes, etc.). However, to see / set values in a not sofisticate graphic designer, it is a good option. The STEP 7 5.5 has about 15 examples of use. It is very didatical and could be used as evaluation / learning propouses.

There are starter packages available with just an S7-1200 CPU 1212, with CPU and 4" Basic Line panel and with CPU 1212 and a 6" Basic Line color panel. Buying a starter package with CPU 1212, Basic Line panel 6"color + Step 7 basic for example is just slightly more expensive than buying these products separately.
