ericson Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	Hi Guys, Currently I have WinCC Flex 2005 Advanced installed in my PG and I am waiting for the delivery from siemens authorised local supplier from our area for this software, 6AV6613-0AA51-3CE5WINCC FLEXIBLE 2008 ADVANCED,UPGRADE FOR WINCC FLEXIBLE2004/2005/2007 ADVANCED, INCL. CHANGE CONTROL In my Simatic Field PG 6ES7712-1BB10-0AG5, Windows OS is XP pro version 2002 SP2 with 1GB RAM, do I need to update my OS and RAM? Best regards, Ericson

From one side is better to update OS to SP3 but from the other take care about versions of installed Siemens software there. 2. For sure you need more RAM memory (take care as that model of PG support up to 2GB) but is is good also to have bigger HDD as there is available 80GB only. (Windows7, 4GB, 500GB is my vote). Like a summary it might be better to replace the "M" with "M3" (or wait for "M4"). Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
