It takes too long time to creat the config files when finishing the installation,and the timeout will occures when the mkcfgdb.bat is running,but the mkcfgdbdr.bat.log is blank.and there also is dcc-dcblib installation error. but the setup programme will infrom me that the installation is successful.the there will be a xml meta data error occurs when startup the starter.pls find the attachment for the details. Thanks a lot in advance. Probably there are some files not downloaded to this page: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&objId=26233208&lang=en&siteid=cseus&aktprim=0&objaction=csopen&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW .... my dowloaded zip file are without the directory in bold evidence CD_2, CD_3 Procedure to install STARTER V4.3 SP2: Download the 2 or 3 or 4 attached ZIP files (depending on the selected download version) Unpack the ZIP files into a shared target directory on your hard disk. Please ensure that there are no spaces in the entire path name of this target directory. After unpacking, the shared directory must appear as follows (shown for the "complete" version): \...\SharedDirectory\01_Readme\ \...\SharedDirectory\CD_1\ \...\SharedDirectory\CD_2\ \...\SharedDirectory\CD_3\ \...\SharedDirectory\SSP_FAMILY\ \...\SharedDirectory\SSP_G110_G120\ \...\SharedDirectory\SSP_HELP\ \...\SharedDirectory\SSP_SIMOTION_INTEGRATED\ \...\SharedDirectory\SSP_SINUMERIK_INTEGRATED\ \...\SharedDirectory\Unsupported Tools\ Start the STARTER setup program by calling it from /CD_1/SETUP.EXE.
