X122/X132 are I/Os owned from SINAMICS Integrated. But it is possible to assign them to SIMOTION by configuring e.g. DI (SIMOTION), DO (SIMOTION).

X142 are SIMOTION I/Os with special technology functions
--> e.g. output cam output with high resolution (1 µs)

ON controller D425-2 there is Terminal call X142 ...On which all ar bi directinal i/p o/p.....what is technically difference between fast input output and normal inpiut output???????...

i am confused that X142,output cam with high resolution with 1µs is possible because controller scanning time is in ms range i am not sure?

With X142 I/Os it is also possible to switch 2 edges within a servo/IPO cycle.
(which won't be possible with standard I/Os)

Example:
- use of X142 I/O as an output cam output
- use ofTO cam track
(signal should switch tohigh status between 200° and 202° axis position)
TO cam track runs in servo cycle with 2 ms
- speed of 360° modulo axis: 3600°/s --> 3,6 °/ms

-->2 ° = 550 µs

The output will switch from low to high status (..and back to low) within 550 us.
With standard I/O this won't be possible with a servo cycle of 2 ms;
reason: a standard I/O can change the I/O status once within a servo cycle (or IPO cycle, if your TO / user program runs in IPO cycle)

With X142 I/Osand TO cam track (or TO output cam) it is possible.

Advantage: high switching accuracy without necessary low servo/IPO cycles

Bi Directional I/O you can use for input or Output and for Hi speed i/p it is possible to attach encoder like device or for fast counting digital becasue it has different HW to use for Highspeed i/p and highest priority scanning time.
in normal i/o HW is notcapablefor highspeed switching of in detect or pulse o/p.
