I would like to receive some advicesor tips with the following

we have decided to use siemens simotion in our applications

I have the application program Rotary knife V2.0 i will try to adapt the program to my specific devices

the original program downloaded from siemens site is configured with CPU D435

and one double motor module

my devices are CPU D425, Smart line module, and two drives, two motors, two encoders, all with drive click interface

i am considering the following steps to convert the program after open the program in simotion scout

1.- Change ther control unit in sinamics integrated (thus eliminating option module wich i don´t have)

2.- Add one smart infeed wich i have

2.- Change first drive antrieb blau unten in sinamics integrated

3.- Change second drive antrieb rot oben in sinamics integrated

4.- Change or verify topology (i don see problem doing this step)

5.- Change or verify axis (i have several doubts i would like to post as new thread)

6.- Change D435 to D425 in hardware configuration

7.- load the application program

i think is possible doing this steps in the same program file what i mean is i will not copy the program to other file, i will keep working in the rotary knife program file

could you give me your point of view of my procedure

am i missing some steps ?

should i consider to change the programs part of the application?

could you give me some advices or tips to have my program working and running

i will appreciate your comments
