Is it possible to data-log around 10 analog values at a rate of at least 100Hz to a USB stick with a S7-1511 with 22" comfort panel?

If not, what other options are there to log at this rate?

Sorry, but I think this is not possible. 100Hz is such a big value. You want to save every 10ms 10 analogue values from a S7 1500 to the comfort Panel to  USB.

How big is your cycle time in the S7 1500?

There is lag times between PLC and HMI that can cause issues. What about making recordings on the PLC and then send packages to the HMI.

(opinion) Sending small packages less regularly can have less influence on the communication.
Is this a possible solution?

Writing to an external device also takes time. Could the recordings not also accumulate on the panel before being send to the jump drive?

We need to log for 20 seconds.  I'm not sure what the PLC cycle time is we are just at the stage of picking components.  We did the original job in an AB SLC-500 about 15 years ago and we achieved 100Hz logging via RS-232 then, so I am hoping we can better this with the Siemens kit.

I believe we can use AR_SEND or failing that write our own DLL for WINCC using  WinCC ODK (WinCC Open Development kit).  However this is our first foray into Siemens PLCs so we aren't sure what will and wont work so all suggestions are welcome.
