Dear, experts.

Hi, I have to establish MODBUS TCP with VMS(Vently Nevada) via MB_REDCL.

PLC is 412-3H and CP is CP443-1. The CP is Client.

I want to read register form server(slave) every 1 second.

But i recevie a error code W#8304 or W#A083 form MB_REDCL.

Please show below the codein ob35( OB35 cyclicperiod is 50ms)
I had adjust the period time but not change situation.

 Hello,

I have a question regarding above program.

At the above setting value, "CONTROL_DAT".WRITE_READ is set to TRUE. And the author told that he intended to read from remote server.

My understanding is that "CONTROL_DAT".WRITE_READ should be FALSE for read function.

Am I wrong?

Hi,
8304 means, that there is no connection between S7 and the communication partner. What is the status of the connection in NetPro?

Please note: A083 is also an error and the ERROR bit is TRUE. So, the first lines are TRUE and ENQ is set again and again. You could ask for BUSY additionally. Only if BUSY is FALSE, you set ENQ to TRUE.

What is the status of the Done_Counter and Error_Counter? Do you have any other error codes?

I am not certain how I should process when neither DONE nor ERROR happened after an MB_REDCL call.

Should I call again MB_REDCL without rising trigger ENQ to get DONE, ERROR value?

Otherwise, should I wait for a moment and check whether DONE or ERROR bit is set without MB_REDCL repeated call, because previous unfinished MB_REDCL call reports its status to DONE and ERROR after its process execution?

For example at the following parameter setting,

Does it mean 5 BYTE or 5 WORD( 10 BYTE)?
