Hello,

I have a spare 545-1104 module that I can connect with and switch from RUN to PROGRAM and back.  When I attempt to load a new program by transferring the logic to the PLC, I get the error message:  Error clearing memory - illegal write to program memory (non volatile).  I haven't found an answer in any manuals yet or in the forum and am curious if there is a fix, or if this module needs to junked.

Would this CPU by any chance be equipped with an EPROM or EEPROM ? That would explain why it gives you an error message writing to non-volatile memory. Check on the CPU motherboard.

There's a Jumper E18  on the CPU board that has to be removed when you're not using EPROM/EEPROM. Did you remove it ?
