could anyone tell me a way (if possible) to scroll three outputs using one push button?

what I want is for each press of a button to bring on an output and keep it on until the next press of the button which would bring on the next output and turn off the first, the next press would turn on the third output and turn off the second. after that, the next press could either turn on the 1st output and turn of the third (ie return to the beginning of the cycle and start again) or, turn on the 2nd output and turn off the third (ie count back down to the beginning of the cycle and start again). it is a momentary push button, not latching. Also, I would need the last active output to be retained on power up.
