ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 9/15/2025 Posts: 22710 Rating: (3071)	Hello, you must configure a Digital Input on the CU for the global measuring, then you can interconnect the DI wit a TO Measuring input. Open the IN-/Output overwiev of the CU320 Open the tab bidirectional Input/Output Configure Measuring Input (SIMOTION) on the DI which you will use Interconnect the TO Measuring Input with the DI in the Config Tab of the Measuring Input Regards Christoph

Ziemens Silver Member Joined: 3/2/2007 Last visit: 9/9/2025 Posts: 990 Rating: (5)	the issue is that i opened two projects with the same scout engineering software. one project has d445-1 and the other has d445-2. in the 1st one i can only assign the address of the measuring input by entering it manually. while on the 2nd one i can press on the 3 dots ... and easily choose the address in the assignment dialog. why there is this difference between two projects on the same laptop?
