I can access memory of WinLC. ex. M0.0 . It can work. Now I want to check how to access Data block of WinLC. Is it possible ? I don't know how to set the OPC item of Data block ? ( ex: the item of memory is set "S7:[S7 connection_1]M0.0" ) Tks a lot. Angus

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	What I mostly do is using OPC Scout (which is a free OPC Client delivered together with SImatic Net). There you can try to read a datablock. And you can see the syntax used by OPC Scout. And reuse it in your application. There is also a manual with OPC interface descriptions. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/24843817 An example from this document: Instance data block parameter S7:[S7-connection-1]DI5,W10,9 DI5,W10,9 identifies 9 data words starting at byte address 10 in instance data block 5.
