I have been trying to create a program to replace a precision cam timer with a Logo 0BA5.
The program will operate 6 outputs controling hyd valvesone at a time in sequence each with a different on time with the second turning onwhen the preceeding one turns off. Then running in a loop until stoped with a reset signal.Also need to independently reset 3 of the valves to a start state when a home signal is inputted. Have tried using the set up in the August 2000 Applications for all sectors of industry and trade manual but hav been unable to make it work It is on page 72 and 73 in manual.

I am wondering if the Shift Register would not get you headed in the right direction with the sequence you are looking for.

Each of the Shift Register Bits could trigger a sequence for you. I am sure you will get other responses but wanted to offer my two-cents.

Yes this what I am tring to do. With the program I am working on I need to stop the sequence anywhere in time if there is a hydraulic hose break or a worker gets where they are not supposed to be. I also need a third input to return three of the outputs to there original start so that the machine can be started in a safe manner. If I were to put in time offdelays following the time on delayswould this be possible as they can be reset independently.
