Mira Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	Please, HOW did you solve this? I have the same problem (module 4449h cancels transition from stop_u to run). My config: PC - ethernet - P350 - profibus - CU 310 DP Complete reinstallation of P350 helps for a while (I don't know why), but it's annoying to do it every day. But it means the project is OK and the error is within P350, doesn't it? P.S.: consistency check doesn't report any error. The same applies for compiling and downloading. Everything works until message "P350 has gone offline" appears (for any reason - closing control panel, disconnecting the cable or restarting Simotion P), then module 4449h begins to cancel switching to run.

But it's still not optimal, because we've realized that this error occurs after every second download (and we don't have time and effort to reset P350 and then set its IP address and so on every time we make any change in the program). Does exist another solution than resetting?

Mira Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	And they have to be the same? I'm quite sure our Scout's version is 4.1, anyway (checked it today; could the diagnostic log be wrong?). It's strange, because we got Simotion and all other hardware (except of motors) and software together from Siemens and I suppose they wouldn't give us anything incompatible with each other. And everything was working fine until some days ago. Well, thank you very much for your time and help. We're going to try another configuration (Scout installed directly on P350). I hope it will help.

Mira Posts: 16 Rating: (1)	So, the "transition from STOP_U to RUN aborted by module 4449h" problem is finally solved. The solution is simple: upgrade all the software on P350 (firmware, technology packages and Scout) to version 4.1.1.6. It solves some other problems too (forgetting mouse settings and the like).
