The S7-1200 is not listed, but this is not accurate.

yes it is possible to make a connection between wincc and s71200.

I had seen that entry in the system manual that jklm referred you to, but I have to tell you that it is not right. Or, at least, it is not complete.  The lead that Madadi gave you above, that WinCC Unified can be use with an S7-1200 CPU is correct, and I know that to be true because I am doing exactly that.

Well, at least, I am using an S7-1200 CPU with a WinCC Unified Comfort Panel, and I am able to simulate the Comfort Panel with the real CPU. Full simulation with simulated CPU and HMI I also know to be possible, but it requires a licence that I do not have. I have the TIA Portal basic licence with the WinCC Comfort add-on licence.

I am given to understand that there are some limitations in the capability of WinCC Unified when used with an S7-1200 CPU as compared with an S7-1500 CPU. I am not yet certain of what they are. As yet I haven’t come up against any, but I am still in the early stages of developing an HMI application using WinCC Unified.

I appreciate your help. but I want to know is there any difference with runtime view of HMI comfort and HMI PC station? because when I'm using a real plc s7-1200 the runtime button is deactivate.

I am sorry, but I am not able to give you a definitive answer on that point. The only comment I would make would be that the S7-1200 CPU may not be your problem. Are you certain that you would get the runtime button activated if you were using an S7-1500 CPU? I wonder if your problem may be your licence. To use WinCC Unified with a PC station would require a runtime licence in addition to the TIA Portal licence that you may already have – as I understand it. As I say, I can’t state that with any certainty, but I do suspect that your problem may not be the S7-1200 CPU.
