I am new to the world of MindSphere and IoT technology, therefore I have some basic questions, which answer I could not find in the forum.

First of all, I have been assigned a task with the following description:

There is a plant consisting of 5 pump, 10 valves and additional sensors (temperature, pressure, level etc.). I need to read statuses and real-time values from this equipment and to send it to a cloud provider (MindSphere), where the client wants to monitor the performance and status of the plant. Also, the client wants to control the devices from the cloud provider - for example, start/stop pumps, open/close valves, change high/low alarm limits and activate emergency stop.

The following equipment is going to be used: S7 1200 + MindConnect Nano/2040 + MindSphere Cloud

So, as far as I understood from the documents, there is no problem to visualize real-time data from the equipment in MindSphere cloud, where the client can check data for specific time period (trend for 1 month period). BUT, is it possible to control pumps, valves, emergency stops from the MindSphere. Is it possible to create start/stop buttons for the pump, which will write directly to plc commands? I really appreciate any kind of user manuals regarding the topic
