I have used a sample of software that was uploaded to the forum a few weeks ago and adapted the inputs to be used from a Kp300 to adjust the analogue output up and down.

the software works that when the input is pressed the units go up or down depending on the input selected. if you hold you input in then the units will rises quickly which is spot on when used with the logos direct inputs.

when the inputs are done via the HMI the units will go up and down in steps but when you hold the input in then it wont rise or fall quickly.

This sound more like an issue with the HMI side than with the LOGO. The polling of the HMI tags is at fault here.

To make sure...
Could you show us in a picture the LOGO program that is responsible for incrementing when the HMI button is held down? Also.. what is the properties of the HMI button that you are using?

Seriously though..
Our LOGO expert can probably come up with a better solution than what you coded... (no offence intended)  but your solution looks solid enough to me.

How about showing us what you have on the HMI side?
What is the properties of the button?

And then just another thought...... you could code (configure) the incrementation inside the HMI and give the LOGO a number instead of a do_increase and do_decrease. That is probably a better method. (...do I feel a new WinCC question coming?)

You used SetBitWhileKeyPressed on <Press key> event.
It should be okay...
but try something different - (unsure if it will work)
set bit with <press key> and reset bit with <release key>.

Next..
Go to the properties of the tag....

Maybe put the network input onto a lamp and see if the lamp flickers or remains on. Another remedy is to put a TOF on the network input......... my guess is that the input is switching on/off.
