I change a motor type in a simotion project and download project without any error. when i start the machine a knife axis should move  to home position after seeing a proximity sensor but when the knife leaves sensor i have software limit switch Error. (attached pic)

Note:

Old motor was 1fk7033-7ak71-1pg0 (resolver) and the new is 1fk7034-5ak71-1lg0 (encoder)

I think i define new motor correctly (first in sinamics part then in axis config) but in axis config, encoder type is still resolver !!!!!

What shall i do?

What is the instruction of new motor definition in simotion program?

If need i can mail the project.

What do you mean by " upload to the project " ?

i config motor in offline mode ==> save the project in laptop ==> download sinamics section to cpu.

By the way, do you think the encoder type, is the origion of error ?

I did your advice. configured the new motor in sinamics part, downloaded the config to cpu anp uploaded it to the project. in axis config data is correct. but when i start the knife homing button i have 20005 error.

i tried it many times but no success.(attachment)

help me please it is important for me.

There is no homing mode as " ENABLE_OFFSET_OF_ABSOLUTE_ENCODER ", how can i use it?

there are 4 selections, 3 types of homing with zero mark and No homing.

in which document i can study that?

Is difference between motor definition by " Motor with Drive-Cliq " and " Select standard motor from list " ?

when i config by selection from list, topology of project becomes messed up.

I prepared a new motor with the same order number with the old motor (1fk7033 7ka71 1pg3) but the problem still exist with new motor i,e knife axis, stops the machine without any error. i think old motor is correct and problem is in another place.

then i tried to manage the motor with the control panel of Axis, motor moves but Error 40005 occurs.

if i find the origin of this error may be machine worked.

can you help me?
