I see your S1 setting is OK--do you have ability to test that 3rd party motor by SINAMICS --NOT by 840D, by STARTER--to see it can run in 30000 rpm

OK i have a picture of the screen (i guess is what you are asking for), as i said, all parameters that i know i have changed to 30000. MD 35110 is 30000

the spindle (not a siemens motor) is 24000 rpm max and is controlled in sinamics s120 using servo mode.

yes, only using starter im able to run spindles to 30000 rpm, in that way there is no problem.

#1--Can you try to make your S2 running 30000. or any speed you like.

#2--Can you try to change NC MD to make your S1 running speed lower than 20000, such as 18000

#3--Can you check the S1 configuration--that means--there is gear or No, feedback using motor encoder or another direct encoder---for this info. you can get from OEM electrical drawing or Check NCMD 30200 =1 or 2

PS: how many years of your m/c? can still get support from m/c builder, call them to get help
