Problem establishing PROFIBUS DP/MPI communication between D435-2 (as a slave) and another device

nikivuk Advanced Member Joined: 10/10/2017 Last visit: 10/31/2024 Posts: 61 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem establishing PROFIBUS DP/MPI communication between D435-2 (as a slave) and another device. The GSD file was installed on another device for D435-2. Additionally, I have configured X136 as Profibus port and I have defined input and output adresses in the profibus port configuration. However, the led DP/MPI is red on D435-2 and my I/O variables which I defined (PIW 0, PQW 0 etc.) give me "Does not exist" status in the Address list. Can anybody help me? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from D435 (DP slave) profibus status .

However now I am trying to establish D435-2 as a master and cRIO as a slave but it seems to have the same problem. I have configured X136 as Profibus DP master and I have configured the network as shown in the figure. However, the result is the same. Dp/MPI LED is red and variables in the Address list are in Does not exist status. Attachment Capture.PNG (526 Downloads)
