No, TIA license and STEP 7 V5 licence are not the same. Maybe this can help you: How do you restore defective license keys and authorizations? |

Hi Nkuthalo, In this case, there are licenses that are "combo license" that can be used for both STEP 7 classic and TIA Portal STEP 7. What license reference did you have for STEP 7 V5 in case I can see if it works for you? On the other hand, you can retrieve the licenses by contacting Siemens support. They are simply going to ask you for the certificate proving you purchased the license. I don't think you can save it from the recovered files. Best regards!

This is best way to recover the licenses key from crash PC/PG. I already done this process in past and succeed. |
