At the moment i cant get the function to work. Summer winter time in EU should be last sunday in March and last sunday in Oktober here is what i do on logo: ( both tried manuel on diplay and from PC ) 1. I Activate summer/winter time ( EU ) 2.. I setup correct date and time 3. i set timezone to be UTC+1 ( Denmark ) To test this i do the following: 1. i set date and time to be Okt. 29 2023 - clock: 02.55 2. i expect when the logo hits 03.00 it goes on hour back to be 02.00 again. 3. in reality when clock is 03.00 it just continues to be 03.01, and so on. So the Summer winter time is not working as i expected. Am i missing something here ?

Do you use (reference and version)? I have searched for information and found the following FAQ: "How do you switch over to summer or winter time in LOGO!Soft Comfort?" Can you tell if this way you can configure it correctly? Best regards!

Logo 24 RCE SW V. 8.3.0 (2020-09-21 11-42) In your attached guide it shows to set summer winter time to "user defined" i can only put dates in here for 1 year ( 2 switch times ) i want it do it automatically every year, that's why i press EU instead of user defined.

In this case, I am going to recommend that you perform a test: -> Please try to set date and time to 25th Oct. 2023 1:59, then wait for one hour, then you'll find the time jump from 2:59 to 2:00. I tell you this, because if you select the time between 2:00-2:59, maybe we do not know this time is in winter time or not. On the other hand, I see that you have the most updated firmware for the LOGO! that you use, therefore, this would not be the possible problem. And finally, you can still update to the latest version of LOGO! Soft Comfort SP1 to see if this can help. Or at least in the location where I am. You can try both to see if it doesn't change by selecting the wrong day.

I tested it also in a old LOGO! 8.0 (first generation), there works it correct. Then I tested it in a LOGO! 8.2, there it doesn't work. Then I tested it in a LOGO! 8.3, there it also doesn't work.

ixo65 Grandmaster Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 9/5/2025 Posts: 35925 Rating: (4496)	I haven't noticed this error yet because I synchronize the time on my LOGO!s 8.2 and 8.3 by using an NTP time server. In my case, the NTP time server is my router, a Fritz!Box 7490.

Anybody have a idea about the chances, and maybe timeline, to a fix from Siemens? I will look into NTP. If i get this up running then i guess i will need to find a server that does the summer / winter time switching, cause if i setup logo to run NTP then it will only read clock and date from server and never change from servers command ? Any recomandations for stabile NTP server. ?

Why the switch works with an NTP time server and not without it... I have no idea. I don't have a recommendation for an NTP time server since I use my Fritz!Box as a time server.
