One of my servers keeps entering fault state after some time, where is this output written? Where can I see why is the server faulting? I searched every file in diagnose folder but nothing. Thank!

So, the problem is that one server is in constant fault state ( If Server1 = Fault and Server2 = OK, then if you stop Server2 - it will notify that redundant server cannot assume local server function since redundancy is in fault, you click OK, after Server2 exits runtime, Server1 Fault is gone. If we start Server2 again, Server1 = OK, Server2 = Fault, and so, if we want to close Server1 runtime, it will notify that server2 cannot assume local server since redundancy is in Fault state, but if we click OK, it will make Server2 OK and so on, you get the idea. ) My question is: where can I see why server x (1 or 2) keeps entering Fault state. There must be written somewhere why Fault is declared. Win_sys_log files explain stuff that generally happens in runtime by dev, for example : PLC gone dark, or problem with a script execution, or cannot load PDL file, etc, but nothing about server state itself. I created a new picture, placed alarm control object on picture and configure it like this: Message Blocks tab: selected diagnose user message block (assigned with system messages) Message Lists tab: moved to the right diagnose message block and ticked it Now Diagnose block appears in alarms but no text is written. The reason is communication with OPC UA channels. I have 47 channels in each server, it seems that servers cannot sustain this kind of load. They disconnect frequently, therefor the redundancy issue. If i delete 7 or 8 connections, on both servers, they appear to work fine, confirmed by system with message “Redundancy recovered.” If I recreate all 47 OPC UA communications, problem reappears. Tag sum from all 47 is 26820 / 65536, so still licensed. A new system message appears when i use all 47 channels : “load on OPC channel is too high” - see attach. My loggings are 1 minute or 1 hour acquisition cycle with 1 hour for archiving / display cycle Any advice? Thank you for support! Attachment opcua load.JPG (98 Downloads)

Perhaps its a matter fo system performance, so perhaps you need more RAM or CPU performance. Bye Murof
