Hi friends

I would like to change the object name\Tagname which visible in APL faceplate as per chart name in CFC (attached a picture for reference). By default it shows as plant hierarchy folder name/chart name/block name, if I want to change it as chart name or block name, how can i do that?

Hi,

You can change this in the Plant Hierarchy settings in Plant view under: Create/Update Block Icons:

Right click the OS project->Plant Hierarchy->Create/Update Block Icons and select the correct tagname selection under: "The object name TAG is made up..."

I have already try that. The selection in Plant Hierarchy setting is used to change the block Icons Tagname. I like would like change it in faceplate also. Here my chart name is VLV1, where as changes are reflected in block Icon not in faceplate.

Have you tried changing the HID as well? You can find it under Plant Hierarchy->Settings and deselect: "Included in HID"

I have tried  Included in HID option as well. If you check my pervious picture it will be  Plant Hierarchy folder name/chart name/block name (PS1/VLV1/1). I have tried by various setting in "Included in HID"  as well. Still tag name in faceplate is Chart folder/Block name (VLV1/VLV-1) attached picture for your reference. Is there any other option or can you share me picture of Plant Hierarchy setting
