I have one G120 VFD and i want to connect local potentiometer at panel for local speed control  to VFD first AI and PLC signal 4-20 mA to second VFD AI for remote . and we should switch over between both signals as speed reference via switch ( might be connected to one VFD DI )

is it possible to do ? and what are the respective parameters and configuration  should  be done ??

Hi,

you can simply do that by using 2 Command Data Sets (CDS).

By default most G120s already have 2 CDS active. 

Use 1 AI for p1070[0] (speed setpoint) in CDS 0 

Use the 2nd AI for p1070[1] in CDS 1

Switching between the 2 CDS is done by 1 Digital input.
