Dear Experts,

We are having a minor trouble with CPU 1515F-2 PN display. It freezes and doesn’t respond to any physical/hardware buttons on it until we re-energize it. There are identical 3 other CPU’s commissioned all together and we face the same problem at all.

Remarks:

• In Tia Portal, we have set the display “open” time as “always active/open”. (Time to stand by mode is disabled.) Display protection is also deactivated.
• S7-1500 hardware code is 6ES7 515-2FM02-0AB0, firmware version is V 2.8.3.
• We are programming it via V17.
• There is no warning/error at online diagnostics screen at Tia Portal.
• Display details 6ES7 591-1BB00-0AA0 and V 2.8.0

Try to perform a FW update of the display.

Lastest FW version can be download from
