How to log acctions of users in a client/server configuration

guileser Experienced Member Joined: 12/2/2008 Last visit: 11/27/2025 Posts: 107 Rating: (2)	Dear All, We have a Client/Server project.It consists of one server and five clients (with own project), every client has its users.What I would like to get is to logg every single handling( In Runtime, like changing a E/S field,pressing a button,...) and the user who did it.It should be take into account as for server or for clients. I have been reading on the forum but It is not very clear for me. - We are using WinCC 6.2 SP2. Can Wincc do it on its own or it needs another extra software like Audit or Simatic Logon?. Thanks in advanced Regards.

Fatso Posts: 168 Rating: (6)	hi guileser if you are using PCS7 blocks you dont need toinstall any additional software you can see the operator actions in runtime in the operation list under alarms.If you are using custom made blocks refer to the link below to see how you can modify your faceplates and alarm loggingfor the actions to go throughto 'operation list'. /tf/WW/en/Posts/19679

SSM = Users, Overview(picture-tree), and folder SSM from OS-Server. Folder SSM = A user can save picture-settings on one client and read that from any other client. //P
