How to run Wincc flexible in Standard

I only have a license key for the standard version. I had a trial license for advanced running, but now I need to get it working with standard. I deleted the trial license and transfered the standard license. All that went fine, but when I try to open wincc it tries to open advanced, sees that the license is gone and closes. So how do I get it to open in the standard version?

And install it again, but now install WinCC flexible standard. (during installation you can choose.) Best regards, Wizard

Anthony Perrone Regular Member Joined: 3/26/2009 Last visit: 4/24/2025 Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I talked to Tech Support on the issue and they said to let the trial version run out and then add the standard license key to the ALM and reboot. Wincc should then open in standard. I still have a few days left on the trial version so when that runs out ill see if that procedure actually works or not. My mistake was that I should have put the license on before installing the software.

To get the standard license key working I had to let the trial run out,nextI hadtransfer the new license key on, upgrade my old license key in the ALM and reboot. I also had to uninstall ALM V4 and run ALM V3. V4 kept giving me too many issues
