Enable second measure in SINUMERIK 802D

e_skazem Experienced Member Joined: 5/18/2015 Last visit: 7/29/2025 Posts: 106 Rating: (1)	Hello I have SINUMERIK 802D + SIMPDRIVE 611 ( digital Control ) for 3Axis Servo Control card is : 6SN1118-1NH01-0AA0 connect to CNC control by PROFIBUS module : 6SN1114-0NB00-0AA2 Servo Motor Encoder is Absolute type & second Measure ( Encoder ) is Incremental type. Unfortunately i can't find parameter for SINUMERIK 802D for enable second measure system & Input Encoder Voltage i think input voltage for X461 is 5v & i did not find 5v in 6SN1118-1NH01-0AA0 card. As fare as I can tell from the 802D manual and 611 manual Direct measuring systems HAS to be connected to X412 on the Servo card. You can not setup the use of X461 and X462 and transfer it to the PCU This limits your ability to choose a TTL encoder, since X412 needs to be either 1Vss SIN/COS or Endat encoder.
