Is there any other way how to connect to online PLC, after resuming from PC sleep, other than restarting PC?

Sometimes closing the TIA portal and starting it again, helps. Disabling and enabling the ehternet card sometimes worked in the past. It is very annoying. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from No interface/subnet available for online connection.

At least after statement in V17 manual, it should not be necessary to perform a restart of PC or even TIA. General information about online mode -> "Standby or hibernation of the programming device / PC" Maybe it is worth checking for updates of TIA, if available for the versin used. regards sancruz

Currently I'm working with TIA V16 Update 6 (it's the latest one). The sleep/hibernation chapter from manual is IMHO telling us something else. It's telling us, that after PC sleep and wake up the online connections are terminated and not re-estabilished automatically. My problem is, that the connections are not re-estabilshABLE. That there is no way (at least I know none) to connect back to online without restarting TIA (or sometimes entire windows OS).

Open folder C:\ProgramData\Siemens\Automation\Simatic OAM\data\LogDevices ("ProgramData" is a hidden folder by windows settings). Rename Folder "LogDevices" (f.e. LogDevicesBackup). Restart PC/PG. Open TIA one time per right click -> run as admin. But if this happpens again, i would create a support request. Regards sancruz
