AutoGen_5093085 Joined: 12/29/2022 Last visit: 3/26/2025 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	good evening I installed PLCSIM V18 And he can't connect to me through the TIA I get to the next screen But the TIA does not find it If I press the green power button it freezes at all Does anyone have an idea? qwazee Platinum Expert Joined: 3/30/2020 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 5421 Rating: (1064)	AutoGen_5093085 I have a basic TIA license In 15.1 I did not need a license for PLCSIM Before the newest update for PLCSIM V18 (SP1 Update 1), others reported that they used PLCSIM V17 instead. You will have to start the PLCSIM V17 simulator first and then do a download from Step7 V18.

It is possible that the PC/PG settings are not set correctly. Review the following document for some helpful hints: [Testing and simulating HMI projects (TIA Portal) in conjunction with SIMATIC controllers, PLCSIM and PLCSIM Advanced]. Contact Siemens using the "Support Request" link if the PLC parts of the linked document is not helpful. Please inform us if you have found the issue.
